Our consultant is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and is an IRCA registered lead auditor in ISO 9001 Quality Management systems plus an approved OHSAS 18001 lead auditor.

Her role for several years was acting as a lead auditor for Railway Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) the UK's leading Railway Safety Governing Body. She was responsible for undertaking annual audits of each railway company to ensure they were complying with their duties relating to the Railway (Safety Case) Regulations, Railway Group Standards, Network Rail's Railway Safety Case and current legislative requirements. Some of the companies included Gatwick Express, First Scotrail, London Underground Lines, Freightliner, Virgin Trains, Chiltern Railways and First Great Western.

Audit elements covered all disciplines within safe train operations, vehicle engineering and contractor safety plus occupational health and safety. We have many ideas of best practice throughout the railway industry.

Sarah has also worked with the local education authority sector and has several years experience undertaking audits suggesting ways of improvement and transferring best practice measures throughout.
